Strategic, analytical and results oriented finance professional, Gabriel Ioannou has a number of years of experience in the accounting profession in both the UK and Cyprus.
Having completed his BSc in Accounting and Finance in the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), Gabriel proceeded to complete his ACA qualification whilst working in London prior to returning to Cyprus and taking the position of Director of Kreston Ioannou & Theodoulou Ltd, Certified Public Accountants and Registered Auditors (CY).
He is currently a member of ICAEW (Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales) and practising member of ICPAC (Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus).
During his work experience in both the UK and Cyprus Gabriel has allocated his time between the audit and tax advisory departments thus developing an acute commercial awareness together with proficiency in understanding of the tax and accounting issues affecting clients, thereby advising them accordingly.
He has gained considerable experience in a diverse portfolio of local and international clients ranging from large multinationals to family-owned businesses and high net worth individuals. He is a member of the Kreston High Net Worth Individuals Group (which is a sub group of Kreston Global Tax Group).
He was a member of ICPAC’S Listed Companies and Capital Markets Committee and then of Small and Medium Practises Committee and serves as a Non-Executive director in both the public (Cyprus Radiotelevision Authority) and private sectors.
Among other charitable activities, Gabriel served until recently as a member of the Board and Treasurer of Special Olympics Cyprus, a non-for-profit organisation which is part of Special Olympics International founded by Eunice Kennedy Shriver, for children and adult athletes with intellectual disabilities,.
Outside of work, Gabriel is interested in sports and predominantly football and enjoys reading health related articles/books and travels extensively.
Savvas Ioannou is a Bachelor of Art graduate from Middlesex University in Accounting and Finance. He is currently a student member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants starting from January 2018.
He joined the firm in 2017 working as an accountant in the accounting department. At an earlier age, it was his pleasure to help others by participating in the Blood Donations activities organized by the Red Cross as well as helping in the fundraising campaign of the Cyprus Anticancer society.
During his free time, he enjoys playing and watching football with friends. Furthermore, he loves going to the gym, travelling and socializing with friends whenever he has free time.
