Who to Contact
Christina Tsiarta is leading the sustainability, ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) and climate change advisory services at Kreston Ioannou & Theodolou Ltd.
Christina obtained her undergraduate degree in Environmental Policy & Economics at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), and her post-graduate degree in Environmental Science and Management at the Bren School of Environmental Science and Management, at the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB), which she attended as a Fulbright Scholar and with the Dean Ernst Von Weizsäcker scholarship. Christina specialises in sustainability, ESG and climate change advisory services, and has over 13 years of professional experience. She started her professional career in London, where she was based for eight years, before relocating back to Cyprus in 2017.
Over the course of her career, Christina has worked with local municipalities, national government agencies and numerous of the Directorates-General of the European Commission, as well as the private sector across countries and across industries, to include HORECA, food production, energy, telecommunications, waste, financial services, transportation and construction.
The types of projects that Christina has managed and delivered have ranged from technical and operational support to policy reform, strategy development and implementation, due diligence and compliance audits, implementation of standards, stakeholder engagement, reporting, gap analysis, materiality assessments and more. Christina also writes articles and blogs on sustainability and ESG issues.
Christina holds a PRINCE2TM certification as a project manager and is a member of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA). She has strong technical and analytical skills, in-depth knowledge of her subject matter and excellent organisational skills, to help your organization operate and grow sustainably and resource efficiently.
Outside of work, Christina enjoys spending time with her family, as well as travelling, and has a keen interest in the arts, whether that’s going to the ballet, the theatre or the opera, visiting museums and galleries or reading literature.
