Director
Strategic, analytical and results oriented finance professional, Gabriel Ioannou has a number of years of experience in the accounting profession in both the UK and Cyprus.
Having completed his BSc in Accounting and Finance in the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), Gabriel proceeded to complete his ACA qualification whilst working in London prior to returning to Cyprus and taking the position of Director of Kreston Ioannou & Theodoulou Ltd, Certified Public Accountants and Registered Auditors (CY).
He is currently a member of ICAEW (Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales) and practising member of ICPAC (Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus).
During his work experience in both the UK and Cyprus Gabriel has allocated his time between the audit and tax advisory departments thus developing an acute commercial awareness together with proficiency in understanding of the tax and accounting issues affecting clients, thereby advising them accordingly.
He has gained considerable experience in a diverse portfolio of local and international clients ranging from large multinationals to family-owned businesses and high net worth individuals. He is a member of the Kreston High Net Worth Individuals Group (which is a sub group of Kreston Global Tax Group).
He was a member of ICPAC’S Listed Companies and Capital Markets Committee and then of Small and Medium Practises Committee and serves as a Non-Executive director in both the public (Cyprus Radiotelevision Authority) and private sectors.
Among other charitable activities, Gabriel served until recently as a member of the Board and Treasurer of Special Olympics Cyprus, a non-for-profit organisation which is part of Special Olympics International founded by Eunice Kennedy Shriver, for children and adult athletes with intellectual disabilities,.
Outside of work, Gabriel is interested in sports and predominantly football and enjoys reading health related articles/books and travels extensively.

Director
Theo is a director in the Audit and Advisory department of Ioannou & Theodoulou Ltd and he is also a non executive board member of the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) as well as the president of the Audit Committee of CySEC. He obtained his undergraduate at the Nottingham Business School in the degree of Finance, Accounting and Management and then joined Moore Stephens LLP (London) and became a qualified member of the ICAEW in November 2013. During his career in Moore Stephens he specialised in niche industries mainly focusing on shipping. Theo was also involved with the technical department of Moore Stephens offering training to newly joined trainees.
In terms of advisory he has been involved in financial due diligence for mergers and acquisitions, advising clients with regards to cash flow budgets/forecasts and performing limited scope reviews on financial information for debt restructurings/new loan requirements of companies. He is also involved in projects for identifying operational processes inefficiencies and recommending necessary improvements. Furthermore Theo is an expert in the UEFA/FIFA financial fair play and is also an excellent user of the SAP online portal system of UEFA offering advisory services to one of the biggest football clubs in Cyprus.
His technical experience at ITH includes the introduction and development of the audit methodology of the firm (CCH Audit Automation), ensuring compliance with the ICPAC cold reviews.
Outside of work, Theo is a passionate cook and loves travelling to experience new cultures and cuisines.

Director
Ioanna Theodoulou, is a BSc graduate from Kingston University and holds an MSc degree in Human Resources Management. She is also a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus.
She joined the firm in 2008 working as an accountant during which she was widely exposed with working with both local and international clientele. Throughout her professional career she was also involved in a variety of both audit and non-audit engagements.
Today, her main focus in ITH is the setup and management of the firm’s HR Department. She has extensive experience in recruitment and dealing with various HR related tasks; including employee performance appraisals, HR strategy, payroll, training seminars and more.
Furthermore, during the last two years she has been a member of the firm’s compliance team and is in charge for the setup and implementation of the AML policies and procedures, installation of new AML software, input data and records update and dealing with general compliance inquiries.
During her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family. Additionally, she loves travelling, cooking and reading books whenever she can spare some time from her parenting duties.

Director
Savvas Ioannou is a Bachelor of Art graduate from Middlesex University in Accounting and Finance. He is currently a student member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants starting from January 2018.
He joined the firm in 2017 working as an accountant in the accounting department. At an earlier age, it was his pleasure to help others by participating in the Blood Donations activities organized by the Red Cross as well as helping in the fundraising campaign of the Cyprus Anticancer society.
During his free time, he enjoys playing and watching football with friends. Furthermore, he loves going to the gym, travelling and socializing with friends whenever he has free time.

Senior Audit Manager
Maria Lambi is a fellow member of the Association of Charted Certified Accountants and a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus.
She worked as an accountant and auditor for more than twenty years and has been a senior audit manager at Kreston Ioannou and Theodoulou Limited for the last ten years.
Maria studied business and marketing and continued with professional studies in accounting at the Association of Charted Certified Accountants. She has extensive experience in accounting, advisory, statutory, and regulatory audit services. Maria has considerable sector knowledge in agriculture, retail, hospitality, yachting, and construction, while her audit portfolio involves local SMEs to international group of companies both on standalone and consolidated level audits.
Maria is responsible predominantly for the provision of audit services but is also involved in business advisory, helping clients with regards to cash flows budgets/forecasts and by performing limited scope reviews on financial information. She has experience in financial advisory services which include business plans, feasibility studies, independent business reviews and valuation services. She also provides guidance and interpretation on the application of technical International Financial Reporting Standards.
Outside of work, Maria enjoys spending time with her daughter, as well as travelling, going to the theatre, and reading literature.

Angeliki Sergiou
Accounting Manager
Angeliki is the head of the accounting department for Ioannou and Theodoulou Ltd. She has worked as an accountant and auditor for more than 30 years and she is with the firm since 2006. She has an extensive experience in accounting services which include gathering information to understand fully her client’s business in order to help them meet the growing demand for enhanced disclosure and accountability. She is also in charge of VAT compliance for all of her clients ensuring their reporting is done on time and as per the relevant regulations. She will advise also on VAT transactions both within the EU and outside EU always liaising with the VAT department in the Ministry of Finance.
Angeliki has considerable sector knowledge in both local and international clients. Outside of work, Angeliki enjoys spending time with her family, travelling and cooking.

Stella Kyriakou
Admin Manager
Stella Kyriakou, as an administration manager at Ioannou & Theodoulou Limited with over 20 years’ experience in the field, is recognized by management for her passion and commitment towards work as well as her drive to excellence.
She works closely with partners, senior management and staff to provide the “back office” support which is essential for the smooth running of the firm. Important aspects of her work include liaising with clients, staff, suppliers for all matters and invoicing and credit control. Clients recognize her for her straightforward and personal approach.
Being one of the of the people involved in the set-up of the payroll department she now advises both staff and clients about payroll issues in both existing and newly set up corporations.
Outside of work, Stella enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, travelling, and reading books.

George Constantinou
George Constantinou has worked as an accountant and auditor for more than ten years. He is an Audit Manager at ITH.
He is a member of the Association of Charted Certified Accountants and a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus.
George studied economics and continued with professional studies in accounting at the Association of Charted Certified Accountants. He has experience in accounting and audit services which includes gathering and assessing information to understand the client’s business operations in order to help them enhance efficiency and operations.
George has considerable knowledge in retail businesses engagements and works with a wide range of clients, from individuals and small businesses to multinationals.
George is responsible predominantly for the provision of audit services but is also involved in business advisory, providing his clients the required advice and solution to help them to operate successfully in the business environment. He has experience in financial advisory services which include business plans, feasibility studies, independent business reviews and valuation services.
Polina Antoniou is the Managing Director of Wizberry Consulting Ltd responsible for the development and provision of Consulting services in the areas of Strategy, Operational effectiveness, Business Transformation, Organisational design, Risk Management and Internal Audit.
Polina has more than 20 years of consulting experience working at one of the big four firms where she had the position of Director for the last six years until April 2020.
Her experience spans across various industries, in areas such as, Governance, Strategic realignment, Business Transformation, Organisational and Operating Model design, Finance Function effectiveness, Process Reengineering, Documentation of Procedures, Performance Management, Internal Audit and Internal Controls.
She has worked with clients operating in various industries including government, shipping, construction, manufacturing, retail, education, hospitality insurance, financial services, in Cyprus, Germany, Greece, Asia and the UK. In leading such consulting projects, Polina is engaged in project management, change management (stakeholder management, communication strategy etc.) activities, interviews with management and staff, workshop facilitation, research and benchmarking etc.
Polina holds a Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering from Queen Mary University (London University), a Masters degree in Construction Economics and Management from UCL (London University) and an MBA from Henley Management College. Polina is also a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and a US Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and she is a member of of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus (ICPAC).
For the last 10 years she has been a member of the Board of the Cyprus Institute of Internal Auditors and she has presented in conferences and coordinated conferences and panel discussions.
Demetris Constantinou is a technology expert with deep focus in transactional systems and customer facing channels .
He has worked for more than 10 years for NCR Corporation in growing roles initially in Solution Sales for Retail, Hospitality and Travel industries, as Solution Manager for Middle East and Japan for the Self Service Kiosks & Digital Signage products and as the Director of Solutions & Marketing for the Retail Industry responsible for the EMEA region. He has also worked as the regional business development manager for Velti, a Technology company for Mobile Marketing and Financial Services in Greece and as a trainee at IBM in the UK at the Corporate Banking Technology division.
Since 2014 has founded and manages PHILOSHOPIC, a cloud commerce technologies company that develops cloud native solutions with customers in Cyprus, Malta and the Middle East. Currently In parallel is the director at SMARDIT, the Kreston ITH technology advisory practice.
During his career, Demetris has engaged with customers in more than 30 countries helping them automate their business and reduce the complexity and cost by the use of technology. He has attended a long list of industry and technology conferences in many of which as a speaker. He has a passion for enabling exciting consumer experiences and is committed to long term business relationships through excellence in delivery
He studied Manufacturing Systems Engineering and holds an MSc in Management Science and Operational Research from the Warwick Business School and is a father of 2 technology addict boys.
Andri Andreou
Andri is a Tax Manager of the Tax department at ITH. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with main field in Accounting from the University of Cyprus, the ACCA qualification and the Advanced Diploma in International Taxation (ADIT) of the UK Chartered Institute of Taxation.
Also, she is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus (ICPAC) and a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation (CIOT).
During her career, she was working in accounting, audit, payroll and tax areas for various local and international clients.
For the last couple of years, she works only on tax matters for a wide portfolio of multinational and local clients, active in the fields of real estate, financial/investment services, etc in order to help them reduce their tax risk on the most efficient manner.
Andri’s experience adds great value to the clients of ITH, especially in advising clients with their initial structuring/set ups, group reorganisations and restructurings, assisting the clients with their tax compliance work and any other daily tax matters.
Christina Tsiarta is leading the sustainability, ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) and climate change advisory services at Kreston Ioannou & Theodolou Ltd.
Christina obtained her undergraduate degree in Environmental Policy & Economics at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), and her post-graduate degree in Environmental Science and Management at the Bren School of Environmental Science and Management, at the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB), which she attended as a Fulbright Scholar and with the Dean Ernst Von Weizsäcker scholarship. Christina specialises in sustainability, ESG and climate change advisory services, and has over 13 years of professional experience. She started her professional career in London, where she was based for eight years, before relocating back to Cyprus in 2017.
Over the course of her career, Christina has worked with local municipalities, national government agencies and numerous of the Directorates-General of the European Commission, as well as the private sector across countries and across industries, to include HORECA, food production, energy, telecommunications, waste, financial services, transportation and construction.
The types of projects that Christina has managed and delivered have ranged from technical and operational support to policy reform, strategy development and implementation, due diligence and compliance audits, implementation of standards, stakeholder engagement, reporting, gap analysis, materiality assessments and more. Christina also writes articles and blogs on sustainability and ESG issues.
Christina holds a PRINCE2TM certification as a project manager and is a member of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA). She has strong technical and analytical skills, in-depth knowledge of her subject matter and excellent organisational skills, to help your organization operate and grow sustainably and resource efficiently.
Outside of work, Christina enjoys spending time with her family, as well as travelling, and has a keen interest in the arts, whether that’s going to the ballet, the theatre or the opera, visiting museums and galleries or reading literature.

Elena is one of the Managers of the Business Outsourced team at ITH. She studied Accounting and Finance as a Bachelor’s degree and continued her studies with Masters In Commercial Law.
Later on, Elena became a qualified member of the Association of Charted Certified Accountants and a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus.
Elena has over ten years of experience in accounting, statutory and regulatory audit services. Elena has considerable sector knowledge in retail and international engagements and works with a wide range of clients, from individuals and small businesses to multinationals. She utilizes her experience to assist clients navigate regulatory complexity and strengthen trust and transparency.
During her carrier, she acted also as an Audit Manager and she was responsible predominantly for the provision of audit services and business advisory, providing her clients the required advice and solution to help them to operate successfully in the business environment. She has experience in financial advisory services which include business plans, feasibility studies, independent business reviews and valuation services.
Currently she is acting as an Accounting Manager which includes gathering of information to fully understand her client’s business, internal controls and risk spectrum in order to help them meet the growing demand for enhanced disclosure and accountability. She ensures that each client’s accounting records are prepared based on the relevant accounting standards and ensures that the VAT/VIES reporting is submitted on time as per the relevant regulations.
Outside work, Elena’s absolute favorite is spending time with her family and making cakes. Loves travelling since she believes that travel is a go-to activity of choice and pleasurable thing to do in your free time.

Christina Papagathokli
